Noah Young

Experienced lead instructor with over a decade of proven success in developing safe drivers. He started his career as an instructor working for The Elischer Driving & Traffic School in 2013. Two years later, he took over the school’s Operator role at the wishes of the Elischer family. In 2018 when the Elischer family had plans to close the driving school, Noah recognized the value that the school provided to the community and purchased the school from the Elischer family. After roughly 600,000 miles of instruction time and 6,000 students, Noah has built a strong reputation for his outstanding teaching and his ability to cultivate a welcoming and effective space for student growth. “My philosophy is that the student’s job is to have fun and to make mistakes. If we don’t find the mistakes we can’t fix them. In that respect, we can’t find all the mistakes in the six hours of instruction, but what I can do is give them a good set of tools that they can use to keep themselves safe on the road.”

Noah is a graduate of Monterey High School and attended San Jose State on a football scholarship where he studied fine art and music and gained an appreciation for typography (calligraphy/lettering). He has been a high school football coach for Monterey High School (his alma mater) for the last ten years and for Pacific Grove High School for nine years before that.
